NGS Data Alignment/Viewing

Description

This is the second part of Day 2 of the High Performance Computing For Life Sciences workshop. Here we examine how to align our NGS short reads and view the alignment in the Integrated Genomics Viewer.

Materials Needed

• Chrome web browser
• Account on Tufts High Performance Compute Cluster
• VPN if accessing the HPC from off campus

Prerequisite

• Intro to Slurm (1 hour)
• Intro to Linux (1 hour)
• NGS Data Download and QC (1 hour)
